Stalin and Churchill

Seventy-seven years ago today, a British military attache, along with Prime Minister Winston Churchill, made the journey to Soviet Russia to inform Stalin that the opening of a new European front would have to wait. The result of this overseas voyage was ultimately Operation Torch, which relieved a significant amount of pressure from the Eastern Front.
